The PsychFacts Database is a project of MindFreedom International.
MindFreedom International is a 100% independent nonprofit (that means no money from governments, religions, or pharmaceutical companies!) UNITED to win human rights and alternatives in the mental health system. MindFreedom is for voice and choice — voice of people on the receiving end of mental health care, and a range of choices in treatment.
Through programs like the Shield Campaign, MindFreedom works to protect the human rights of any individual confined or drugged in the mental health system against their will.
